ARCHICHLAMYDEAE. Perianth of free parts or absent. UMBELLIFLORAE: UMBELLIFERAE:
Mostly herbs with hollow stem and alternate sheathing, usually much divided
leaves ; inflorescence typically a compound umbel with bracts and bracteoles
; ovary inferior with 2 styles on a swollen base “stylopodium” ; schizocarp
of 2 mericarps on a carpophore, each usually with 5 ribs, often with “vittae”
