ARCHICHLAMYDEAE. Perianth of free parts or absent. PAPAVERALES: CRUCIFERAE.
Herbs with alternate, exstipulate leaves and simple or branched hairs ;
regular bisexual flowers in bractless racemes ; 4 sepals, 4 petals, 6 tetradynamous
stamens ; ovary of 2 carpels, 1-loculed, with spurious partition ; fruit a
